Baere Brewing has become once of my new fav’s in the Denver (Baker neighborhood) area. That’s a lot to say, considering there’s over 20 breweries within a 5 mile radius (perhaps even more!).
Though, I’m not a huge fan of the location, it’s in a strip-mall-type of area, with a small amount of parking. I do however, love the interior and atmosphere. Which, to me, makes the brewery.
Baere has a wide variety of brews from Saisons and Weisse beers to big browns (oh yes, it’s BIG alright!) to hoppin’ IPA’s and well done stouts.
I tried Big Hppy Brown (8.8% ABV), Hoppy (5.9% ABV), Barrel Hoppy Brown Batch 3 (9.8%) and a few others. For a small barrel brewery, 2.5 barrel system, they make some well made, tasty brews.
I’ve been there a handful of times and have enjoyed it each time.
