I was a little surprised by the CB & Potts; Big Horn beer. Considering CB & Potts is a chain around Colorado, I really didn’t expect Big Horn to have good beer. I was wrong. Not only does Big Horn brew good beer, they have been awarded numerous medals including accolades from the Great American Beer Festival and other national festivals.
Some of their beers always brewed are the Total Disorder Porter, Buttface Amber Ale (love the name), Big Horn Hefeweizen, Big Horn Blond and Big Red IPA. My favorites so far have been two of their seasonal brews, the Pumpkin Ale and the Floral IPA. Typically I like porters or darker beers when it comes to pumpkin, but the ale was sweet and went down smooth—a true pumpkin flavor. The floral IPA was the ultimate; unfortunately they were out of it in just a couple weeks.

As for the atmosphere, it’s a typical sports bar and restaurant. Fairly large but worth visiting to catch the game or visit with friends.
