Spangalang Brewery is in the heart of the Five Points neighborhood in Denver. Twas known to be a rougher area years ago, but with vast gentrification it’s a hopping place for condos, coffee shops and breweries.
In fact, sort of funny, it’s the old Denver County DMV office. Just over a year ago they opened and still get around 20 people a day going to the location to update their registration!
Of course, you’re wondering – “how’s the beer?” Pretty darn good! Ex-brewers from the now craft-giant Great Divide, started Spangalang. So, you know their brews are well made. In fact, I love the community there – when I walked in the owners of another local brewery, Station 26 in Park Hill, were having a meeting. Denver and beer is a small big town.
Front Tripels to double IPA’s and stouts I’ll be making my way back to Spangalang on a bike-beer tour for sure!
