Beers, bikes and costumes…what else could be better?
Each year New Belgium Brewery puts on Tour de Fat, which is an event in more than 12 cities ranging from the Northwest, Southwest and Midwest spreading the good word about the positive societal offerings of the bicycle. Yes, you heard it right. New Belgium promotes putting a bike in front of any mode of transportation. You can even trade your car in and vow to ride only your bike! Not so much my style, but good in thought.
Tour de Fat is also a great place to people watch (in addition to great beer drinking). All sorts come out of the woodwork for this event. It’s costumes galore! And I was happy to be a part of that!
Although the beer lines were more than a half hour long, the beer was of course, the main event. New Belgium served up Fat Tire, Hobtober, Ranger IPA, Sunshine Wheat and Blue Paddle. I heart warm summer days, costumes, beer and cruising!
As New Belgium says it, “Folly your folly!”

I like your "sequins shirt and drinkin beer " pic. You should use that as your "Beer Chic" picture! (=
